If you are a graduate student or K-12 teacher and you are planning to participate in 2012 NCTEAR conference, we would like to invite you to join us in the Scholar Lunch. During this event, graduate students and K-12 teachers will have the opportunity to participate in roundtable discussions with some of the keynote speakers to the conference and other major scholars in the field of language and literacy. This event is being organized to provide an informal yet lively environment where graduate students and K-12 teachers can meet esteemed scholars to exchange ideas and foster intellectual growth for all involved.
The Scholar Lunch will take place on Saturday, February 25th, from 11:45am to 1:15pm at the University of Alabama. The registration for the luncheon is part of the general registration for the conference and has an additional fee of $15 (vegetarian options will be available).
Confirmed scholars include Anne Haas Dyson, Marla Mallette, Tony Onwuegbuzie, Valerie Kinloch, and David Schaafsma.
Please register for the Scholar Lunch with your NCTEAR registration on or before February 4th, when online registration will close.
