Message to NCTEAR Community

As a literacy research community, we are navigating uncharted times. COVID-19 has prompted universities, colleges, career centers, and K-12 schools to close their doors and migrate to online learning platforms to provide remote instruction. Although vaccines are now available, there are still too many uncertainties related to evolving COVID-19 mitigation efforts and regulations for New York City for us to properly plan a safe and engaging in-person conference. As such, the Executive Committee of NCTEAR would like to announce that our 2022 conference will be virtual.  We deeply appreciate the feedback you provided in the survey, as well as your patience and understanding as we work to plan the 2022 conference.  ​
